Summary/Objective 

Manages all aspects of complex Alpine Cleaning and Restoration projects from inception to conclusion.

Essential Functions

As the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multiple water and mold mitigation and demolition projects and teams.

Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with managing disparate mitigation projects at varied completion percentages.

IICRC Certification in Water and Mold.

Responds to customer inquiries about projects.

Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings.

Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Project Manager will have direct supervisory duties over technicians.  Staffing level will vary depending on projects.  Management of projects includes directing project related activities of the project team members.

 

Work Environment 

This job operates both in a standard office environment as well as construction environments at a variety of stages of completion. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee will be required to assist with a variety of construction projects such as framing, drywall hanging, wall texturing, light electrical work and a variety of other general contractor related activities.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend/holiday work.

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require more out-of-the-area and overnight travel.

 

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GRE

At least six years of experience in restoration or construction services, including at least two years of experience in project management or a related field; or graduation from an accredited university with a degree in a related field; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
